Photography

What should homeowners do before a photo shoot?

Start 48–72 hours before your session: Declutter, clean, and plan access so your Las Vegas listing looks bright and move-in ready on camera.

  • Las Vegas light: Open blinds for even daylight and replace missing bulbs with warm whites (2700–3000K). Clean windows to cut desert dust haze.
  • Heat & seasons: In summer, cool the home to 72°F at least 1 hour before the appointment so people and pets can step outside briefly while we shoot. During monsoon months (typically July–September), aim for morning slots to avoid pop-up storms and wind.
  • 48–72 hours out: Complete deep clean, tidy closets/pantries if they’ll be photographed, schedule landscaper, and set sprinklers to avoid wet concrete during the shoot window.
  • 24 hours out: Clear kitchen/bath counters, remove small rugs, hide pet items, organize cords, and stage patio/balcony with simple seating.
  • Day of: Park cars off the driveway, secure pets, open blinds, match lamp bulbs, and have remotes for fireplaces, pool features, and community gates ready.
