How clean does a house need to be for real estate photos?

Hotel-level tidy is the standard. Clean, clutter-free rooms look larger and brighter—critical for Las Vegas buyers browsing MLS galleries on mobile.

  • Kitchen: Clear all counters; leave one small plant or bowl. Shine stainless, empty sink, no sponges/soaps/drying racks. Align stools.
  • Living areas: Remove small rugs, kids’ bins, extra side tables. Hide cords/remotes; fluff cushions and throws.
  • Bedrooms: Crisp, hotel-style bedding; two pillows per side. Clear nightstands; hide chargers, hampers, and personal items.
  • Bathrooms: Clear counters; close toilet lids; neutral towels only; remove bottles and bathmats.
  • Floors & glass: Vacuum/mop; wipe mirrors; clean windows for desert dust haze. Pet hair reads strongly on camera—lint roll upholstery.
  • Exterior: Sweep entries/patios, hide bins/hoses, clean pool skimmers, and stage simple outdoor seating.

When to reschedule: If heavy dust is visible on surfaces/windows, carpets show large stains, or monsoon weather brings strong winds or rain that would compromise exteriors. We’ll advise fast—our priority is delivering images that help the listing perform.
